Chris J. Waring - Founding Partner

Chris oversees PTI Associates’ Account Management and Project Management practices. With over 25 years of experience, Chris has specialized in building and growing relationships with mid-cap and Fortune 500 customers, including ADP, Stanford Medical Center, State Farm Insurance, Reynolds and Reynolds, and numerous others. Additionally, Chris has led technically complex and geographically distributed projects, delivering high quality, cost effective solutions to multiple markets throughout the US, Canada, and South America. Chris and his teams have led implementation efforts for such companies as Thompson Financial, Mitchell International, and the University of California at San Francisco. Chris spent his formative years growing up in Belgium and Japan, and is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. He holds degrees in Computer Science and Business administration. He has held technical certifications from Microsoft and Novell, as well as insurance licenses from the State of California.

Charles E. Norman, Jr. - Founding Partner

Chuck administers PTI Associates’ Management Consulting and Executive Placement practices. A 30 year management veteran, Chuck has carried P&L responsibility for mission-critical operations throughout the US, Western Europe, and Asia. His experience includes hands-on responsibility for product development, service delivery, sales, marketing, finance, and regulatory compliance. Major clients have included Northwest Airlines, Ford Motor Company, Ford Credit Europe, General Motors, Motorola, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Chuck has also worked with startup operations for such incubators as Excelerator Technologies, Ltd. and Inscribe Technologies. He has successfully built both on-shore and off-shore management teams, and has extensive experience in growing organizations to support steep growth sales and delivery curves. A native of North Carolina and a long-time resident of San Francisco, Chuck holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Bachelor’s degrees in Physics.
